My Summer Job

I’ve been working at City hall this summer through the Summer Youth Employment Program. It’s where you get to apply for a job within the city, and if you get selected, you get a part-time summer job! I think it’s a pretty cool program and you get paid! It’s a 6 week program, and it’s a great experience. Having this on your resume might help you get a job later! But on the other hand, it does still allow you to have a great summer. My hours this summer were 8-12.  This allowed me to have lots of fun with my friends still, and I was out of work for the day before some of them even got up! This is a great program, and if you are 14-15, you should seriously consider this opportunity. Peace
