(Creative Arts At Kene) encourages campers to explore new ways to express themselves through their interest in the arts. Campers select their own classes from a long list ranging from creative writing to costuming. The last week of camp is a celebration of the visual and performing arts. Campers will display their visual art creations in an art exhibit. Performances will be presented at the Colonial Theatre and the MoCo Blackbox Theatre. African American Folktales07/13/2010 - 12:27pm Etc/GMT-4 Description: Stories from the Heart: African American Folktales & Slave Narratives Using readings, traditional and digital storytelling, research, and writing participants will learn to tell a story and create an electronic version of their oral story. Participants will learn some minimal editing using MovieMaker and Audacity.
